What Lies in Store  

What lies in store is more 

Than I have ever known before 

It is the end and the relief I crave 

From all that I abhor 

And while there's terror in the risk I take 

In my pursuit of my escape 

There also lies at stake 

A chance at life worth living for 

Though this static hell is home to me 

There's too much that I hope to be 

To lose my faith, surrender, or 

Remain in the nightmare I adore 

I understand and I am sure 

That I must erase the mask I wore 

And heal the heart that I once tore 

For my narcotic paramour 

Because what lies in store is more 

Than I have ever known before 

And finally, I've realized 

My future is worth fighting for
